New Faces on the Farm

Harvey – the beautiful Lavender Orpington in the center, (guarded by our faithful chicken dog, Clyde)

Moon is the smaller goose to the right. She is the nicest goose I have ever met.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Chloe the Rooster with his ladies Olympia and Penelope. A great chicken family, all the way from Miami!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Bantams

India, Tee and Bee are little bantams. Tee and Bee are twin roosters and hysterical to watch.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Silkie Roosters
Chicken Little & Nugget are a pair of silkie roos. They are just adorable and their human still visits them and brings them treats!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The magnificent 7 is a flock of retired hens, the girls are all about seven years old and are a pleasure to have on the farm (I just love old hens!)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Rooster
Major is a young and enthusiastic Roo.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Heifer, yet another young roo who was masquerading as a hen.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ruby is a darling hen, she fit in with the flock as though she was born here.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Petey was found in a parking lot in Fort Lauderdale. His humans cared for him and brought him here so he could have a flock of his own. Thus far he really seems to enjoy the goats.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Rey and Oscar came together. Oscar is a Cayuga duck and a Rey is a Pekin. They like to mingle with the wild ducks.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Charlie & Lucy are a great pair of Pekins. They are loved by their flock and follow Moon the Goose everywhere.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Long John is a very brave little rooster. He came to us with broken leg, and unfortunately the break was old and not able to be set. However he gets around great on his good leg and even hops into his roost at night.
